Earlier this week, Google announced that Grow with Google is going digital with the launch of Grow with Google OnAir, an online version of the company's skills training courses, workshops and experiences.

In 2017, Google launched Grow with Google, an opportunity for people to attend digital skills training sessions and workshops with the company as they travelled throughout the United States bringing experts to the public; in some communities, Google didn't just pass by, but instead set up permanent opportunities: in New York, the company organised a centre where it offers free digital skill training workshops and events six days out of seven.

As the outbreak of Covid-19 caused the company to put these gatherings on hold, Google announced earlier this week that Grow with Google will be offering such opportunities virtually to the United States and Canada.

Through Grow with Google OnAir, the company provides "digital skills training, interviews with career experts and programming from partners including Merit America and the National Congress of American Indians”. One-to-one coaching sessions are available for those interested in refining specific skills.

Offerings cover a wide range of digital applications from helping YouTube creators keep their blogs safe to teaching startups learn how to collect and manage data about their business.

Grow with Google OnAir is available now. Workshops and events vary by location.
