The Simpsons Prediction In 2011 About Metaverse Is Shocking!

Recently, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of the social media network Facebook has announced that he wanted to rebrand the company to Meta, an idea that will incorporate a whole new experience.
On October 28, 20201, Mark announced that his empire will now be called Meta as part of their image renewal strategy and the new idea of Metaverse.
According to him, The ‘Metaverse’ will create a hybrid of current online social experiences, even scaling it up to three dimensions or projecting it to the physical world.
This announcement about the name change has just gone on air, but surprisingly Simpsons have predicted it almost 10 years ago.
In December 2011, episode 9 of the 23rd season went on air, the events in the episode portrayed a concept similar to today’s Metaverse and online user experience. The strange thing is that although Facebook was already introduced at that time and was becoming quickly popular still it wasn’t clear that this platform is going to be the revolution in social media space and the digital world. But Simpsons knew it would happen anyway.
