Jeffrey Dahmer may be a hit on Netflix, but he won’t get any more play on eBay.

The ecommerce giant is removing every costume connected to the late serial killer, who is the subject of a controversial Netflix series.

Interest in Dahmer-inspired getups such as glasses, wigs and shirts has increased since the Ryan Murphy-helmed series Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story premiered Sept 21 - just as the Halloween season got underway.

Shirley Hughes, the mother of one of Dahmer’s victims, called out the use of the notorious killer’s image for costumes as being exploitative, telling TMZ it is triggering to see people dress like the man who murdered her son, Tony Hughes.

TikToker Jack Wright came under fire this week for posting a video in which he recreates a scene from the series.

An eBay spokesperson confirmed to the Daily News on Tuesday that all Dahmer items are being removed under its violence and violent criminals policy, which prohibits “Items closely associated with or that benefit violent felons, their acts, or crime scenes within the past 100 years.”

According to the user agreement, “listings that promote or glorify violence or violent acts, or are associated with individuals who are notorious for committing violent acts, are not allowed.”

The online market said it employs this policy “out of respect for victims of violent crimes” and said it promotes safety, trust, and respect within its marketplace.

Dahmer was beaten to death in a Wisconsin prison in 1994 while serving 15 life sentences for the brutal murders of 17 boys and men. Most of the victims of his 13-year killing spree were young Black gays he lured by promising to pay them for posing nude for photographs.

Dahmer, 34, a Milwaukee native, committed necrophilia and cannibalism and preserved his victims’ body parts and bones.

The 10-part Netflix series ranks as the second most-viewed English series of all time on Netflix with 701.37 million hours viewed.
