HSI Futures


U.S. stocks closed at record levels for a second consecutive session on Friday, boosted by gains in technology and industrial stocks that more than offset a lukewarm jobs report.


Hong Kong stocks closed the week at a near two-year high, supported by an upbeat mood in global equity markets and continuous money inflows from China. China will release its Caixin services PMI data for the month of May later at 9.45 am.

Plan A : Above 25755, do nothing

Plan B : Below 25633, do nothing

Plan C : Attempt buying if market holds well above 25674

Plan D : Cut below 25633

Plan E : Consider selling if market surges but fails to breach above 25755

Plan F : Cut above 25835

FKLI closed almost at day's high level before going into the weekend last Friday. Market seems supported but after the terrorist attack in U.K. yesterday, market might have a cautious opening. A firm hold above 1769 would set a base for market to rally ahead of Hari Raya celebration. Otherwise, profit taking activities might kick in if market fails to hold above 1769.

Plan A : Attempt buying if market holds firmly above 1769

Plan B : Cut below 1766

Plan C : Consider selling if market trades consistently below 1774

Plan D : Cut above 1778

FCPO remain unstable since end of last month 'till date and yet to discover the direction of the market. Dalian and soybean oil are slightly up while Ringgit strengthen at RM4.26 against the greenback.

Plan A : Sell if market rebounded and resisted around 2525. Targets are 2495, 2471 and 2450.

Plan B : Buy if market retraced but stabilized above 2504. Targets are 2525, 2540 and 2575.

Plan C : Below 2504, no fresh position.

Plan D : Above 2525, no fresh position.
