Gold prices rose on Monday as global stocks fell on data showing China exports unexpectedly fell, pointing to further weakening in the world's second-largest economy and prompting investors to seek safety in the precious metal.

Plan B : Cut below 1282.7

Plan C : Consider selling if gold price surges but fails to breach above 1297.5

U.S. stocks declined on Monday as an unexpected drop in China's exports reignited worries of global economic slowdown and prompted caution among investors as the corporate earnings season kicked off.


Hong Kong shares ended weaker on Monday after a surprise drop in China exports and imports in December heightened concerns over an economic slowdown in the world's biggest trading nation and deteriorating global demand.

FKLI made a final hour rebound yesterday but still falling short of 1680. Market is expected to open little change today with tight range trading likely.

FCPO dived to 2134 with some long liquidation towards the closing bell on Monday. Market continue to stay weak today , hovering around 2130's to 2150's. Dalian and soybean oil are mixed today while Ringgit stays strong at RM4.09 against the greenback.

Plan A : Buy if market supported firm above 2150. Targets are 2165 and 2180.
