在这一季,比起去年同期,雀巢的营收增2.5%到RM12.8亿(+RM3200万)。4QFY2017的毛盈利率是10.42%,比起3QFY2017的9.05%,QoQ+15%。这是由于因为持续成功和创新的促销优惠,让本地的销售增加4.5%。这一季YoY,全面盈利是RM1.3亿,比起去年RM6600万,YoY+98%。这是由于持续的成本管理和不同阶段2017的促销投资(2017的促销投资平分在4个季度)。持续的创新带来新产品,如MAT KOOL Fruity Bugz, NESCAFE® Black Ice, MILO® Nutri-up, MAGGI® Hot Mealz 和 NESTUM® Mango Tango。第二个成长因素是持续的促销优惠如MILO® Breakfast Day, MILO® SEA Game, "Healthier Heart" campaign, MILO® "Pack to School", Nestle OMEGA PLUS® "Stop the Count" campaign,等。雀巢也用电商平台,在线上促销来接触顾客。

前景:
雀巢已在全球有150年的成功和在大马超过100年的成功,他们会持续用"Creating Shared Value"的方针来保持成长。近来的马币对美元升值也会降低进口成本。雀巢会努力增加供应链的效率,创新产品供应,和增加促销优惠。

In this quarter, revenue increased by 2.5% to RM1.28b (+RM32m) compared to last year. Gross margin for 4QFY2017 was 10.42%, compared with 3QFY2017 9.05%, QoQ+15%. This was supported by domestic sales which grew by 4.5% driven by the continuous innovation and renovation initiatives as well as by successful Marketing and Trade promotions. YoY of this quarter, total comprehensive income was RM131m, compared with last year RM66m, YoY+98%. This is based on their continued sustainable cost management as well as a different phasing of the Marketing investments in 2017 compared to 2016 (2017 showed well spread investments over the 4 quarters). Their continuous focus on Innovation / Renovation projects yielded in successful new launches, such as MAT KOOL Fruity Bugz, NESCAFE® Black Ice, MILO® Nutri-up, MAGGI® Hot Mealz and NESTUM® Mango Tango. The second growth pillar was their continued investment in marketing and trade promotions such as MILO® Breakfast Day, MILO® SEA Game, "Healthier Heart" campaign, MILO® "Pack to School", Nestle OMEGA PLUS® "Stop the Count" campaign, to name a few. They also utilised digital platforms, with an online campaign to engage consumers.

Prospects:
Nestle has been successful for 150 years globally and over 100 years in Malaysia, they will continue to embrace these "Creating Shared Value" approaches as part of their strategy to achieve sustainable growth. Recent appreciation in RM against USD should help Nestle enjoy lower imported cost. Nestle is striving for efficiency increases all over the supply chain and reinvesting the realized improvements into the sustainable growth by innovating / renovating their portfolio and intensifying their promotions.
