于二零一八年三月十九日，YTL Power International Berhad谨此宣布，于二零一八年三月十六日，本公司之间接全资附属公司YTL Jawa Energy B.V. (“YTLJE”)已与Bel Air Hotel Holdings S.À.R.L.订立协议（「SPA」）收购1,768,000股普通股，代表Bel Air Den Haag Beheer B.V. (“Bel Air”)股本中全部已发行股份，代价为60,300,000欧元（RM2.9亿）但须受SPA（「建议收购」）所记载来规限（http://www.bursamalaysia.com/…/company-announcements/5727513）。建议收购事项完成后，Bel Air将成为YTLJE的附属公司及YTL Power的间接附属公司。Bel Air的全资子公司B.V. Hotel Bel Air Den Haag (“BV Hotel”)将因此成为YTLJE和YTL Power的间接附属公司。Bel Air于2011年5月26日在荷兰阿姆斯特丹成立。Bel Air是Marriott The Hague的合法和实益拥有者，这家306间客房的酒店位于Johan de Wittlaan 30, 2517 JR The Hague, Netherlands (“Hotel”)。Bel Air和BV Hotel从事经营酒店的业务。此次收购可能会使杨忠礼电力创造新的业务部门。

前景：
发电（签约）：

On 19 March 2018, YTL Power International Berhad wishes to announce that YTL Jawa Energy B.V. (“YTLJE”), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has on 16 March 2018, entered into an agreement with Bel Air Hotel Holdings S.À.R.L. (“SPA”), for the acquisition of 1,768,000 ordinary shares, representing the entire issued and outstanding shares in the share capital of Bel Air Den Haag Beheer B.V. (“Bel Air”), for the consideration of EUR60,300,000.00 (RM290m) in cash subject to such adjustments as set out in the SPA (“Proposed Acquisition”) (http://www.bursamalaysia.com/…/company-announcements/5727513). Upon completion of the Proposed Acquisition, Bel Air will become a subsidiary of YTLJE and an indirect subsidiary of YTL Power. B.V. Hotel Bel Air Den Haag (“BV Hotel”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bel Air, will consequently become an indirect subsidiary of YTLJE and YTL Power. Bel Air was incorporated in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on 26 May 2011. Bel Air is the legal and beneficial owner of the Marriott The Hague, a 306-guestroom hotel located at Johan de Wittlaan 30, 2517 JR The Hague, Netherlands (“Hotel”). Bel Air and BV Hotel are engaged in the business of operating the Hotel. This acquisition may create new business division in YTL Power.

Prospects:
Power generation (contracted):
The Group has an 80% equity interest in PT Tanjung Jati Power Company (TJPC), an independent power producer which is undertaking the development of Tanjung Jati A, a 2 x 660 megawatt coal-fired power project in Java, Indonesia.

The Group also has a 45% equity interest in Attarat Power Company (APCO), which is developing a 554 megawatt oil shale fired power generation project in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Construction has commenced, with operations scheduled to commence in mid-2020.

YTL Power Generation Sdn. Bhd. has commenced its operation on 1 September 2017 for the supply of 585MW of capacity from the existing facility in Paka for a term of 3 years 10 months, which will be expiring on 30 June 2021.

Multi utilities business (Merchant):
This segment will continue to focus on customer service, diversification beyond the core business into integrated multi-utilities supply and non-regulated ancillary businesses in steam sales, oil storage tank leasing, bunkering services and potable water sales.

Water & Sewerage:
This segment is confident of delivering its out performance target by improving its business processes and will continue to provide customers with first-class affordable service.

Mobile broadband network:
This segment will come up with more competitive products to increase the subsriber base to generate higher revenue. The Group continued to make good progress in its implementation of the 1BestariNet project. A key feature of the project is the provision of the Frog VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) to more than 10000 state schools. Plans are underway to roll out the LTE version of the Yes Zoom gateway device as well as to expand the Yes platform into Sarawak in the near future.
