[QES GROUP BHD：分销部门的营业额增加]

4Q19 vs 4Q18:
集团税前利润（PBT）为112万令吉，而去年同期的税前利润为384万令吉。

YTD19 vs YTD18：
税前盈利从去年的1859万令吉减少至560万令吉。

4Q19 vs 3Q19：
集团在本季度录得收入4144万令吉，而上一季度为3954万令吉，微升4.8％。营业额较上一季度增加191万令吉，主要是由于分销部门的营业额增加了452万令吉。销售回报扭转了集团在截至2019年止财政年度的第二季所计提的180万令吉减值。集团取得了112万令吉的PBT，而上一个季度则录得261万令吉的PBT，尽管收入增加，但是制造部门受影响。

前景：
他们预计，由于不久的将来所有国家/地区会推出5G，半导体行业将强劲复苏。 QES集团将准备好必要的资源，以参与5G，物联网（“ IoT”）和人工智能（“ AI”）相关需求产生的自动化检查和处理设备的未来增长。

[QES GROUP BHD: increase in revenue from the distribution division]

4Q19 vs 4Q18:
The Group registered a profit before tax (“PBT”) of RM1.12 million against PBT of RM3.84 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

YTD19 vs YTD18:
The profit before tax decreased from RM18.59 million to RM5.60 million as compared to the preceding year.

4Q19 vs 3Q19:
The Group recorded revenue of RM41.44 million for the current quarter under review against RM39.54 million in the immediate preceding quarter, representing a marginal increase of 4.8%. The increase in revenue by RM1.91 million against the immediate preceding quarter was mainly due to the increase in revenue from the distribution division by RM4.52 million. The sales returns reversed the impairment which the Group had made provision of RM1.80 million during the second quarter of the financial year ending 2019. The Group registered a PBT of RM1.12 million against PBT of RM2.61 million in the immediate preceding quarter despite an increase in revenue is due to impact on the manufacturing division.

Prospects:
They anticipate the semiconductor industry will come back strongly due to the inadvertent rolling out of 5G across all nations in the near future. QES Group will be ready with the necessary resources to participate in the upcoming growth of automated inspection and handling equipment generated by 5G, Internet of things (“IoT”) and artificial intelligence (“AI”) related requirements.
