Tropicana  has  entered  into  a  sale  and  purchase  agreement  with Mediaraya  Sdn  Bhd  for  the  disposal  of  a  piece  of  freehold  land  in Subang  Jaya  for  RM37.6m.  The  land  size  is  approximately  2.5  acres, translating  to  a  disposal  price  of  RM350  psf.  Tropicana  expects  to realise  a  gain  from  disposal  of  RM3.7m.  (Source:  Company announcement)

Comments: We are positive on the land disposal  -  the disposal price of RM350 psf  is comparable with the  market  price and  the  net  proceeds will  further  reduce  Tropicana’s  net  gearing  ratio.  Maintain  BUY  on Tropicana with an unchanged TP of RM1.83.
