As latest bursa announcement 30/8/16:

"CIMB on behalf of YTL Corp has announced that as at 5.00pm on 29/8/16, the offeror collectively holds 75.71% of the issued and apid-up share capital of YTLE."

Refer back to the timeline:

25-July-16 : 74.12% (as offer document lodged)

29-Aug-16: 75.71% ( after 1mth++)

15-Sept-16: Due Date

This indicate that extremly low take up from minority as 1.59% shareholding increase by YTL after 1 month++. Also, no action taken by instiutional sharehloder till now (also a YTLE substantial shareholders) who holding block of YTLE shares.

As the first due date 15/9/16  is not too far now (only 13 days left or 8 market days left and counting....), the exchange offer more likely to declare unsuccessful.

Minority who just holds still and bear with YTLE. Keep it up.
