Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Saturday said Ukraine would win back all the cities it had lost to Russia, including Sievierodonetsk, and admitted the war was becoming tough to handle emotionally.

In a late-night video address, he also said Ukraine had been hit by 45 Russian missiles and rockets over the previous 24 hours, which he described as a cynical but doomed attempt to break his people's spirits.

"Therefore all our cities - Sievierodonetsk, Donetsk, Luhansk - we'll get them all back," he said.

It was the only time in the address that he mentioned Sievierodonetsk, which finally fell to Moscow's forces earlier in the day after weeks of brutal fighting.

"At this stage of the war it's spiritually difficult, emotionally difficult ... we don't have a sense of how long it will last, how many more blows, losses and efforts will be needed before we see victory is on the horizon," he said.

The relentless missiles attacks confirmed that sanctions against Russia were not enough to help Ukraine, which needed more weapons, he said.

"The air defense systems - the modern systems that our partners have - should not be on training grounds or in storage, but in Ukraine, where they are needed now, needed more than anywhere else in the world," he said.

You should watch Bald and Bakrupt youtube videos! Then you see how Ukraine before invasion! I mean, the level of corruption was uncontrollable and civil wars erupting every now and then! Sad for Ukraine really! My impression of ukrainians are that, they are very decent people! Just the people at the top are more interested in power! Zelensky and Putin are the same! Both guilty of grand agenda! In the end, people suffer!

Actually Ukraine invasion can be ended by flooding oil into the market hence killing Russia! You see high oil price means, Russia is making tons of money! Russia dependence on oil is like 95%! Cheap oil really hurt Russia!

Just look at Trump! US was overflowing with oil till traders had to pay others to buy from them! Yeah! For the first time in history, oil price turn negative! Can you believe that! Not in a million years!
And yet, the EV industry was thriving under Trump! Heck, Trump even pushed Elon Musk to build Gigafactory in Texas! Which turn out to be a great move!

Blame the Ukrainians themselves for choosing their leaders

Zelenskyy won the 2019 Ukrainian presidential election with 73.23 percent of the vote in the second round, defeating Poroshenko. He has positioned himself as an anti-establishment (neither pro Western or pro Russia) but pro people and anti-corruption figure.

Unfortunately he was sucked into misinformation by vested interest of corrupt Western media and pro western corrupt politicians, thus end up instead of fighting corruption he is now fighting Russia.

So what lessons can you learn from a democracy system that divide and rule at the same time protect and promote corrupt politicians?

Influenced by Boris Johnson, I think. BBC, Sky... Ukraine is winning. Last time, it was the ghost of Kiev. This time, another story was made-goat of Kiev.

Longer they continue to fight, the more advantageous the Russian position.

Goat/ghost, who gives a sh*t. Propaganda victory does not count on the battlefield.

Russians have taken Severodonetsk, soon to take Lisichansk, which means Lughansk Oblast is taken. Then only left half of Doneysk to complete Donbass takeover.

Read somewhere that about 2/3 of current Ukraine land was actually given by ex USSR leaders to Ukraine, as good will to Ukraine because it is part of USSR.
so Putin is only taking back a bit of land which was previously part of Russia.
