Covid 19 pandemic which was started more than 2 years ago, has been depressing almost all the listed stocks because workers cannot go to work during MCO lockdown. Among all the listed stocks, steel stocks have dropped the most. Currently there is no more MCO lockdown. As a result, there is more construction activities and increasing demand for building materials including steel. As shown on the table below, all the listed steel stocks are at single digit PE ratio.
Note: Since there is no more MCO lockdown in the next half year, I have safely assumed the next half year EPS is the same as the last half year for comparison. I left out Lion Industries because it has reported losses. I also left out Choo Bee because the daily traded volume is very small.
I am obliged to inform you that I have Prestar, Leon Fuat and AYS which are the 3 cheapest steel stocks among all the listed stocks in terms of PE ratio.

After the stock market closed, KSL announced its 4th quarter ending Dec 2023 EPS of 12.74 sen. The total is 40.76 sen for 4 quarters. Its total EPS for 4 quarter ending 2020 was only 17.8 sen.
