Mr. Koon Yew Yin Scholarship

The Conditions to be fulfilled by applicants for Mr. Koon Yew Yin Scholarship of RM6,000 per annum are as follows:

  1. Open to all Malaysia Citizens.
  2. He/She is following a course of study in an approved local university or other approved local centers of higher learning or is eligible to enter such local University or local centers of higher learning, EXCEPT UPM, UM and UTM
  3. He/She is following or will enroll for a course of study in any branch of the engineering professions accredited by the BEM & IEM.
  4. He/She is not holding another scholarship.
  5. STPM holders who achieved five principles and obtained mere than 70 units or equivalent.
  6. STPM leavers who have been placed by the Unit Pusat Universiti into the stated courses.
  7. Have been actively involved in extra-curriculum activities during previous study at school or other institute.

Payment is made yearly and on condition that the recipients submit the result slips.

Terms:

  1. Generally the student must need the financing
  2. Academic results are second to this.
  3. Only parents income to be below RM6000 be considered.
