Thin line between a real news and fake news is, one is chances, the other one is crime.
To the chief editor(s) of The Star,

Ref: Serious manipulation of newspaper to the extend of cheating investors to facilitate criminal robbery. Is this The Star business?

The Star claims itself as the largest English newspaper in your country Malaysia, and proud itself for 45 years of establishment (since 1971). The Star Business is now shame itself as the most paid corruption newspaper for corporate media manipulation and breeding ground for criminals in the business world. Misleading news to the extend of producing fake news is too much.

Bursa Malaysia is still shocked on the Vivocom Internationals Bhd CIMB Investment Bank probe on 1 December 2016, and The Star gave the manipulation story a star feature exposing the crime. CIMB Investment Bank editor was dismissed.

Today The Star itself is fabricating a fake news report on MQ Technology Bhd, "reported twice" in a week (within 4 days exactly), and caused the share price to pump up, and today dump down by substantial shareholders. Investors are clueless and only to find out in the evening Bursa announcement, the news is "fake".

The person name is called Teh Eng Huat, which resigned today as well. MQ Technology Bhd warrant and share price both drop close to 30% and 60% in 1 day, and all the investors who read The Star news "twice" suffered 30% and 60% losses. Bursa Malaysia personnels even went holiday didn't bother to issue UMA. The Star editors took so much money, didn't even bother to explain what caused the big drop today, and who are the culprits they spoken to make the fake news. Who is Teh Eng Huat? The company appointed 2 new directors are part of the share price manipulation scam and bundled together with the fake news, the news reported "twice" by same Star editor within 4 days, is blatantly organised day light robbery. If the news is real, how good or bad the business is subjective up to investors to judge. But if this news is fake, i's a crime.

How would The Star do about it? How would The Star's 45 years of glory answerable to such sad episode of media abuse. This is too much and too far, a sad story. I loss my college savings is my own bad luck I don't mind. I have been "cheated". That's different feeling.

Maybe some investors loss their savings and money to buy food. Especially when comes to The Star, a used-to-be trusted household name. Do something for your country. Make us proud ourselves to associate with Malaysian newspaper.

Below is an angry investor helplessly believed in your news and nobody in Bursa Malaysia can stop the criminals taking away their money. How to trust The Star again?
