17 May 2017, Kuala Lumpur - Construction company Protasco Bhd had today announced the Notice of Interest of Substantial Shareholder Pursuant to Section 137 of CA 2016. New shareholder in disguise emerges under corporations related to Great Eastern Holdings Limited, and reported holding 22,001,025 shares, or about 5.2% shares.
 
Market is curious where does this mysterious shareholder collected such large block of shares from and why acquires the shares by corporattions held under general fund management company? The share was reported acquired on 12 May 2017. The announce took place about 2 weeks before Protasco Bhd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 25 May 2017, at The Function Room, 9th Floor, De Centrum Tower @ De Centrum City, Jalan Ikram-Uniten, 43000 Kajang, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
