Guan Eng '100% confident' Pakatan Harapan govt will do better than BN

KUALA LUMPUR (March 19): With the implementation of reforms to ensure a clean government, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng is "100% confident" that the Pakatan Harapan government will do better than the former Barisan Nasional (BN) administration.
"(This is) not only because we have a Prime Minister who is a very respected statesman with tons of experience and good contact with many countries around the world, but because of this critical point: it has been proven in history that a clean government will always perform better than a corrupt government," he told investors at Invest Malaysia 2019 forum today.
"This government is clean. And we intend to implement reforms that ensure future governments will also be clean," Lim added.
Additionally, he said the government is ensuring that all policies are "right", and also making sure that Malaysia is a country with ambition, purpose and clarity.
"But of course we don't overextend our ambition. What we want is [for the] international investors and fund managers [to know] that this is a country that they can believe in and rely on.
"If we give you our reports, it will be credible. There will be no creative accounting, there will be no hidden files, no falsification of assets. What you see is what you get," said Lim.
He reassured investors and fund managers that those who are corrupt will be detected quickly and punished.
"I would say the most effective mechanism, apart from disclosure and whistle-blowers, is the internal control system that we implement," said Lim.

Who work very hard for his rakyat.
We should praise also others untold MOF staff for their
