Anwar: PAS courting danger by calling for DAP ban

KAJANG: PAS is courting danger by asking DAP to be banned, says PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He said it was dangerous to "teach" the new ruling government to ban a party.
"I think PAS still follows the old way of thinking, asking for ban. That's old politics," said Anwar.
"It is also dangerous for PAS. So, don't," he said after opening the 6th Seminar on Bangsa Malaysia here on Saturday (Oct 26).
He said this in response to PAS deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man's call to ban DAP.
Tuan Ibrahim had said the call to ban DAP was justifiable, and alleged that its leaders had undermined the principles of statehood and the Federal Constitution.
He noted that DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng had penned the foreword message in the recently banned Belt & Road Initiative For Win-Winism comic book written by Hew Kuan Yau.
On the issue of former Umno minister Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak's application to join PKR, Anwar said some party leaders had expressed conflicting views, but they would get the views of other branch leaders in Sabah before making a decision.
"No decision yet. We listen to all views first," he said.

I also think Mahathir will not go off after 2nd or 3 rd year.The country need Mahathir.But if things finish,he will go.Its so worse under PH.If Mahathir is not there,even worst(nobody have much experience as Mahathir as his chooses men).LGE is the worst.Blaming too much.3 segment under LGE.Its so worst.

Just let Anwar be PM. Pas is very afraid of him. Malaysia shall fly high if Anwar is PM.

DAP's MPs will join PKR if DAP is banned. PKR will have 90+ MPs. Good for Anwar also to claim the PM post (He will have largest party in Parlimen). Those of us who voted in GE14 remember that we actually crossed PKR symbol on the ballot papar though candidates from DAP bcos PH not registered yet & PH was represented by PKR symbol. One of the reason why DAP won big bcos Malays don't see the rocket symbol on the ballot in GE14. It is also good for DAP bcos they tried hard for many years to get Malay support but very littele result. Let DAP forever use PKR symbol as multi-racial party. During GE13, DAP was even ready to use PAS symbol(under Pakatan Rakyat) when DAP was threatened with ban & when Nik Aziz was around. So, for DAP to join PKR is no issue. It also works very well for Anwar. That's why Anwar made this statement.
