YBS International Berhad (formerly known as LNG Resources Berhad) was incorporated in Malaysia as a public limited company in year 2002 under the Companies Act, 2016 as an investment holding company and was officially listed on the MESDAQ Market of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in year 2003. It operates in three segments: precision engineering, precision plastic injection moulding and precision machining and stamping. The precision engineering segment is engaged in designing and manufacturing precision molds, tools and dies, and jigs and fixtures. The precision plastic injection moulding segment is engaged in the precision engineering plastic injection molding and sub-assembly. The precision machining and stamping segment is engaged in manufacturing and selling of precision machining and stamping components for the telecommunication, industrial sensors, switches, electronic equipment and other industries.

US-listed Enovix to now fully fork out US$100 mil investment in battery manufacturing deal with YBS

Enovix’s Gen2 autoline will have a production capacity of 1,350 units per hour and will be able to produce up to 10 million units of batteries a year.
Under the latest amendment, Enovix is now fully responsible for the initial investment of US$100 million (RM440 million).
This is as opposed to the earlier agreement dated July 27, 2023, which stipulated that Enovix will invest US$30 million and YBS has the obligation to finance US$70 million.
The amendments also include the markup payment terms and fees to be paid by Enovix to YBS for the services provided.
Based on the new terms, YBS is also fully responsible for obtaining and maintaining working capital requirements to sustain compliance with the terms, including, without limitation, fulfilling Enovix’s purchase requirements for materials.
There is also a modified markup fee percentage to account for manufacturing services performed by YBS for Enovix for the existing and future lines.
The markup fee is based on direct and indirect materials, direct labour, utilities and repair and maintenance.
Both parties also agree that the shortfall of the markup fee, if any, shall be payable by Enovix to YBS, based on the monthly invoice.

Why still called YBS as scam.
Previously, Enovix want YBS to commit USD70mil for the machinery investment. Many analyst view this as very risky move, as YBS size is relatively small compare to this USD70mil investment.
Now, Enovix has take the initiative to solve this problem, whereby ENOVIX will self invested the USD100mil machinery, and YBS no need to invest any amount, what YBS need to do is to help them to operate the machinery and monitor the manufacturing process, and YBS can earn a mark up on top of it.
So, it should be a good news, as this move has mitigate the risk of investment, and with the USD100mil capital invested by ENOVIX, the chances of this project is a scam is getting lower, no point ENOVIX spend USD100mil if they know this is not working.

Enovix is just using YBS land to put their machines without paying any charges and forcing YBS to maintain them from deterioration..they are covered with battery projects that are waiting for the first order from customers either next year, 2 years or 5 years from now..

YBS might just be in a great position with this new deal! 🚀 Enovix taking on the full investment definitely lowers the risk for them. If they manage the operations well, that markup could lead to solid profits. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out with all those potential battery orders on the horizon!

Most mystery stock, YBS.
Until now I believe still no one know whether ENOVIX is real or scam.

The current quarter losses is mainly due to share option and forex loss.
So, overall still acceptable.
Paper business is reducing, but EMS business has steadily growth.
Once the acquisition of Allied Technology is completed, then can foresee YBS will become the next Genetec.
