'I'm not a Freemason', says Abdul Hadi

PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang has denied allegations that he is a Freemason.
"For the record, the PAS president has nothing to do with the allegations," he said in a Facebook post on Wednesday (Oct 26).
He said that ahead of the 15th General Election, PAS rejected any slanderous political culture, empty promises and unfounded false accusations.
He was referring to a news report and a video clip of PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's speech which claimed that the PAS president was a Freemason.
The Freemasons are said to be an organisation with origins to stonemason guilds from the end of the 13th century, which regulated the qualifications of stonemasons and their interaction with authorities and clients.
