RAPID KL rail network operator Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd has introduced a convenient payment option for its customers.

As of yesterday (April 30), travellers can now use debit or credit cards at all customer service counters across the network, according to a statement released by Rapid Rail.

This initiative underscores Rapid Rail’s commitment to enhancing the ticket purchasing experience and catering to the diverse needs of passengers.

With the new payment method in place, LRT, MRT, Monorail, and BRT users can enjoy added flexibility in their transactions. They can use debit or credit cards for various purposes, including purchasing tokens, reloading Touch ‘n Go cards, and subscribing to travel passes such as My50 or MyCity.

By offering this alternative payment option, Rapid Rail aims to streamline the ticketing process and eliminate the hassle of carrying cash or searching for an ATM. This payment mode is not limited to specific stations; it is available at all customer service counters across the Rapid KL network.

“LRT, MRT, Monorail and BRT users now have the flexibility to use debit or credit cards for transactions, including purchasing tokens, reloading Touch ‘n Go cards, and subscribing to My50 or MyCity travel passes.

“With this new payment option, users no longer need to worry about carrying cash or looking for an automated teller machine,” the statement added.

“This payment mode is also available at the Rapid KL concession card registration counter at the Pasar Seni hub and the Conlay MRT station.” - May 1, 2024
