KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has requested all government departments, including ministries to schedule a visit to the Postnormal Times Madani Exhibition held in Berjaya Times Square.

Anwar also encouraged all parents, students, universities and schools to visit the exhibition, which highlighted the issues faced by society due to the changes in social media following the rapid growth of technology.

"The effort (to come up with the exhibition) is meticulously organised with detailed thoughts.

"It (the exhibition) also provides opportunities to explore new intellectual discoveries and challenge the mind to think about humanitarian values that can save the nation," he told reporters after launching the exhibition today.

The prime minister, clad in a purple Batik shirt, also spent about one hour at the exhibition.

Present during the exhibition were Deputy Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk R. Ramanan, Berjaya Corp Bhd founder and chairman Tan Sri Vincent Tan and former education minister Dr Maszlee Malik.

A collaborative effort by the prime minister and the Centre for Postnormal Policy and Futures Studies (CPPFS) with Berjaya Times Square as the sponsor, the exhibition aimed to spread awareness of the postnormal times and demonstrated Anwar's political experience as well as the desire for reformation.

The exhibition, which commenced today until May 10, also offered insights into future studies and postnormal times theory to develop the Madani approach.

At the same time, Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, said that this was the first time that such an exhibition was held in Asia.

Following this, he also hoped that the Communications Ministry would support the exhibition by promoting it to the public.
