KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 27): Low-cost carrier AirAsia will operate a total of 33 routes to and from China in the second half of 2024 with the launch of two new routes, namely Penang-Shenzhen and Kota Kinabalu-Shantou.

AirAsia Malaysia will operate four flights weekly from Penang to Shenzhen from Oct 28, whereas flights from Kota Kinabalu to Shantou will commence on Nov 16, with three flights weekly, it said in a statement.

The low-cost carrier said all flights are available for booking on the AirAsia Move app, formerly airasia Superapp, and airasia.com from now until Sept 8.
