Another Malaysia Airlines flight forced to turn back?

KUALA LUMPUR: Another Malaysia Airlines flight is believed to have suffered technical issues, forcing the aircraft to turn back to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1.

FlightRadar indicated that Malaysia Airlines flight MH66 departed from KLIA for Seoul in South Korea at 11.50pm last night.

According to the global flight tracker, the Airbus A330-323 turned back and landed safely at KLIA at 12.34am today.

The New Straits Times has reached out to Malaysia Airlines for comments.

Meanwhile, netizens have taken to social media, including Facebook pages dedicated to supporters of Malaysia Airlines, to discuss what happened to flight MH66.

On one of the Facebook pages, users claimed that the aircraft experienced a hydraulic problem upon taking off from KLIA.

The users also noted that the aircraft landed safely at the airport and that the landing process was normal.

Another user, believed to be a passenger on flight MH66, said they were provided with accommodation at hotels near the airport until their next flight at 8pm tonight.

The user also praised the captain and crew of flight MH66 for their professionalism in handling the situation.
