Tracking the strong rally on the overnight Wall Street, the FBM KLCI extended its gains by 0.9%, underpinned by strong buying support amongst selective banking and oil and gas heavyweights. The lower liners – FBM Small Cap (+0.3%), FBM Fledging (+0.1%) and FBM Ace (+0.8) continue to inch higher, but the Properties sector (-0.3%) was the sole underperformer on the broader market. On the FBM KLCI, there are 26 advancers and 4 decliners. WTI Crude oil price stood at US$46.14.
