Separately, the European equities also posted modest gains – driven higher by commodities-related counters.

The FBM KLCI ended in the positive territory on last Friday, marking its second consecutive weekly gains. The weekly MACD Histogram has extended another green bar, while the weekly RSI continues to hover above the 30 level. The immediate resistance will be envisaged around the 1,700-1,740 levels.
