M+ Online Morning Buzz - 17 Nov 15: Dow +237.77 pts (+1.38%) @ 17,483.01 pts. The U.S. stockmarkets snapped its third straight session of losing streak as the Dow rose by 1.4%, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq climbed 1.5% and 1.2%, respectively. Gains on the broader market was led by energy-related companies amid the increase in crude oil futures, while the travel or tourism-related sectors was battered following the terrorists attacks in Paris.
Meanwhile, the FBM KLCI extended its losses for the fourth consecutive session yesterday owing to the losses in selective financials and Genting-linked heavyweights. The MACD Histogram has extended another red bar, while the RSI hovers above the 30 level. The immediate resistance will be envisaged around the 1,690-1,700 levels. Support is pegged around the 1,600-1,630 levels.
