The FBM KLCI ended higher by 0.1% after trading largely in the positive territory, in-tandem with the general positive trend seen in global stockmarkets. Meanwhile, crude oil prices also extended its rally on expectations of an output cut, ahead of the Organisation of Petroleum-Exporting Countries (OPEC) meeting next week. Market breadth was negative with 344 gainers and 410 decliners, while 366 traded unchanged. Top gainers of the day were BAT (+RM1.06), Petronas Gas (+30.0 sen) and Carlsberg (+24.0 sen).
