Despite being traded higher at the start of the opening bell, quick profit taking sent U.S. stockmarkets lower overnight as the Dow fell 0.6% while the S&P 500 saw all 11 major sectors in the red.

FBM KLCI: 1,630.30 pts (+10.62pts, +0.66%)
Window dressing activities coupled with higher crude oil prices lifted the FBM KLCI higher for the second day. The immediate resistance level is located around the 1,650 level.

Crude Palm Oil: RM3,130 (+RM2, +0.06%)
Crude palm oil prices closed marginally higher on optimism of higher demand from China ahead of the festive season. The RM3,200 level will serve as the immediate resistance level.

WTI Crude Oil: $54.06 (+$0.88, +1.66%)
Crude oil prices extended its gains, ahead of the supply cut from both OPEC and non-OPEC members. Crude oil prices might trend towards the US$55-US$60 levels.

Gold: $1,141.67 (+$2.89, +0.25%)
Gold prices advanced for the third straight day ahead as U.S> Dollar retreated. The US1,100 will serve as the immediate support level.
