Market breadth was muted as losers edged winners on a ratio of 448-to-419, while 360 stocks flatlined. Meanwhile, Petronas-linked companies like Petronas Gas (+26.0 sen), Petronas Dagangan (+22.0 sen) and Petronas Chemicals (+20.0 sen) finished higher on Monday, as crude oil prices rallied for the eighth-straight session.
