The FBM KLCI continued to slide for the second consecutive day, as fears of a potential trade war lingered in the background, further exacerbated by selling-pressure in Nestle. Market breadth remained negative with 514 decliners vs 411 advancers, while 400 stocks flatlined. Notable losers include banking stocks like Hong Leong Bank (-52.0 sen), Hong Leong Financial Group (-36.0 sen) and RHB Bank (-14.0 sen).

Dow Jones: 24,873.66 pts (+115.54pts, +0.47%)
U.S. stockmarkets finished mixed overnight as the Dow (+0.5%) advanced on optimism over the appointment of Larry Kudlow as the country's top economic adviser but the S&P 500 fell 0.1%. The immediate resistance is located at 25,500.

FBM KLCI: 1,845.27 pts (-11.79pts, -0.63%)
The FBM KLCI (-0.6%) extended its losses yesterday, dragged down by weakness in selected banking and telco heavyweights. The immediate support is located at 1,840.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,441 (+RM5, +0.21%)
Crude palm oil prices closed marginally higher after recovering all of its intraday losses. The immediate support is envisaged around RM2,350.

WTI Crude Oil: $61.19 (+$0.23, +0.38%)
Crude oil prices march higher for the second day on optimism over the prospects of market rebalancing. The immediate resistance is located at US$63.

Gold: $1,316.10 (-$8.75, -0.66%)
Gold prices extended its losses after the Greenback appreciated against a basket of currencies. The immediate support will be pegged around US$1,300.
