The FBM KLCI (-0.5%) retreated on the back of renewed volavility after unemployment rate data rose to 5.3% in May 2020 which saw the increase in number of unemployed person rose by 47,300. Market breadth stayed negative as losers outnumbered the gainers on the ratio of 770-to-304 stocks. All but the plantation sector (+0.02%) finished in the red amid the renewed volatility.
