FBM KLCI: 1,504.85 pts (+14.73pts, +0.99%)

Although the selling pressure was quite significant on Wall Street overnight, stocks on Bursa Exchange managed to rebound significantly led by healthcare stocks, after being bashed down on Wednesday; the optimism could be contributed by share buy-back movements by some of the glove companies as well as shares being technically oversold. The healthcare sub-index jumped 9.15%, while technology sub-index gained 3.05% for the session. Also, we noticed some buying interest on pharmaceutical-related and vaccine theme stocks such as PHARMA, DPHARMA, BINTAI and SOLUTN, while hospitality stocks such as MERIDIAN and LIENHOE had some follow through buying support.
