FBM KLCI: 1,546.82 pts (+13.77pts, +0.90%)

The FBM KLCI (+0.9%) reversed morning session's losses and ended in the positive territory as PCHEM (+39.0 sen) led the key index’s rally amid firmer crude oil price that climbed above USD80 per barrel mark. Market breadth, however, remained negative as the losers overpowered the gainers by 593-to-463 stocks. The energy sector was the biggest advancing sector on the mixed broader market, underpinned by gains in DIALOG (+9.0 sen), YINSON (+40.0 sen), and ARMADA (+2.0 sen) as the sector surged in tandem with the crude oil price.
