FBM KLCI: 1,530.42 pts (+7.95pts, +0.52%)

The FBM KLCI (+0.5%) snapped 3-session decline and ended higher, underpinned by gains in MISC (+17.0 sen), TOPGLOV (+9.0 sen), and DIALOG (+13.0 sen). Market breadth, however, remained negative as the losers outpaced the gainers by 515-to-469 stocks. On the mixed broader market, the energy sector (+4.3%) rallied  on the back of the firmer crude oil price trading above USD81 per barrel mark, powered by DIALOG (+13.0 sen), YINSON (+53.0 sen), and ARMADA (+2.0 sen), while the technology sector (-0.7%) closed lower following Nasdaq’s tumble overnight.
