FBM KLCI: 1,523.79 pts (-1.34pts, -0.09%)

Selling pressure emerged on the FBM KLCI (-0.1%) following two-session gains as the index-linked glove heavyweights led losses. Market breadth remained negative as the losers beat the gainers by 560-to-387 stocks. The healthcare sector (-1.2%) extended losses, mainly due to selldown in glove counters such as TOPGLOV (-11.0 sen), HARTA (-12.0 sen), and SUPERMX (-8.0 sen) after SUPERMX reported lower YoY profit on the back of declining glove ASPs. Meanwhile, this was followed by the energy sector (-1.1%) amid falling crude oil price.
