FBM KLCI: 1,510.57 pts (-1.65pts, -0.11%)
The FBM KLCI (-0.1%) slid to close lower into the fifth straight session, in line with regional markets’ downtrend following the overnight losses at Wall Street. Market breadth remained negative as the losers overruled the gainers by 790-to-351 stocks. The healthcare sector (+6.4%), however continued to outperform the negative broader market on the back of Omicron-sparked selloff, led by TOPGLOV (+55.0 sen), HARTA (+75.0 sen), and SUPERMX (+30.0 sen), while the industrial products & services sector (-2.1%) was the biggest loser.
