FBM KLCI: 1,569.51 pts (+6.31pts, +0.40%)

The FBM KLCI (+0.4%) rebounded amidst mixed broader markets as final hour buying in selected industrial products & services and banking heavyweights led the index higher. Market breadth, however, turned negative as the losers hammered the gainers by 642-to-343 stocks. The technology sector (-2.4%) was the biggest losing sector on the broader market due to selling pressure mainly in GREATEC (-39.0 sen), INARI (-12.0 sen), and D&O (-24.0 sen) on the back of persistent worries over potential interest rate hikes in the US.
