The FBM KLCI (-0.05%) declined for the fifth straight session amidst cautious trading across regional bourses as investors took cue from the negative performance on Wall Street overnight. Market breadth turned negative as the losers thumped the gainers by 575-to-334 stocks. Profit taking activities built up in the energy sector (-1.71%), led by DIALOG (-11.0 sen), ARMADA (-1.5 sen), and SAPNRG (-0.5 sen). Also, selling pressure was noticed in the technology sectors (-1.61%), tracking the Nasdaq's movement.
