The FBM KLCI (+0.3%) bucked the mixed regional markets and extended gains for the third straight session, led by AXIATA (+8.0 sen) and DIGI (+8.0 sen). Market breadth remained positive as the advancers outpaced the decliners by 492-to-361 stocks. The construction sector (-0.78%) underperformed the positive broader market, mainly due to selling pressure in GAMUDA (-4.0 sen), IJM (-2.0 sen), and SUNCON (-3.0 sen), while the technology sector (+0.61%) was positive despite selling pressure on Nasdaq.
