The FBM KLCI (+1.2%) delivered another solid performance, anchored by gains from selected plantation, banking and oil & gas heavyweights today. Market breadth stayed positive as the advancers overthrown the decliners by 567-to-399 stocks. The plantation sector (+3.1%) took the lead on the mostly positive market sentiment, driven by gains from BKAWAN (+76.0 sen), KLK (+68.0 sen) and SIMEPLT (+26.0 sen) that was reacting to the sharp rally in CPO prices yesterday and trading higher ahead of the release of financial results later this month.
