The FBM KLCI (+1.00%) snapped the three-session losing streak and closed higher on the back of bargain hunting activities despite the cautious sentiment on the regional markets amid the Russia-Ukraine tension. Market breadth turned positive as the gainers outnumbered the losers by 799-to-272 stocks. The broader market traded in a positive tone as most sectorial indices turned green except for the healthcare sector (-0.41%). Meanwhile, the technology sector (+8.15%) staged a strong rebound after seven-straight session of heavy selldown, lifted by FRONTKN (+41.0 sen), MPI (+278.0 sen), and VITROX (+56.0 sen).
