The FBM KLCI (-0.09%) moved a tad lower reversing from its intraday high and closed below the 1,600 level on the back of final hour profit-taking as sentiment remained mixed. Market breadth was negative as the losers outpaced the gainers by 465-to-445 stocks. However, the construction sector (+1.47%) outperformed the mixed broader market as IJM (+6.0 sen), GAMUDA (+4.0 sen), and EKOVEST (+3.5 sen) gained traction.
