The FBM KLCI (+0.20%) revisited the key 1,600 level, taking cue from the positive performances on Wall Street overnight as Petronas-related heavyweights and GENTING (+11.0 sen) led gains. Market breadth remained positive as the advancers outnumbered the decliners by 566-to-390 stocks. Meanwhile, the energy sector (+2.50%) outperformed the positive broader market, anchored by gains in HENGYUAN (+60.0 sen), HIBISCS (+5.0 sen), and PETRONM (+25.0 sen).
