The FBM KLCI (+0.50%) ended higher ahead of the long weekend break along with most of the regional peers, taking cue from the overnight optimism on Wall Street as selected banking and industrial products heavyweights rebounded. Market breadth turned positive as the advancers led the decliners by 445-to-343 stocks. The broader market traded in a positive-biased tone, with the telecommunications & media sector (+1.17%) taking the lead as TM (+12.0 sen), DIGI (+5.0 sen), and AXIATA (+3.0 sen) showed signs of rebound.
