FBM KLCI: 1,420.43 pts (-0.12pts, -0.01%)

The FBM KLCI (-0.01%) ended marginally lower ahead of the tabling of Budget 2023 tomorrow as final-hour selldown sent the key index into the negative territory. Market breadth, however remained positive as the advancers outpaced the decliners by 435-to-328 stocks. The healthcare sector (+2.03%) soared on the back of improving outlook in the glove sector led by stocks such as TOPGLOV (+3.5 sen), HARTA (+8.0 sen), and SUPERMX (+8.0 sen), while the plantation sector (-0.50%) staged a pullback as profit taking activities emerged.
