FBM KLCI: 1,386.27 pts (+3.80pts, +0.27%)

The FBM KLCI (+0.27%) marched higher at the start of the week, driven by buying support in selected banking, telco and gloves heavyweights in the second half of the trading session today. Market breadth, however, turned negative as the decliners overtook the advancers by 443-to-363 stocks. The broader market ended mixed, with the healthcare sector (+3.39%) continues to outperform, driven by extended gains in IHH (+14.0 sen), HARTA (+6.0 sen), and TOPGLOV (+5.0 sen).
