FBM KLCI: 1,438.28 pts (+17.90pts, +1.26%)

The FBM KLCI (+1.26%) rebounded strongly from a heavy selldown yesterday as bargain-hunting activities emerged in more than half of the key index constituents. Market breadth turned positive as the advancers hammered the decliners by 588-to-269 stocks. All the 13 major sub-indices closed in the green with the energy sector (+2.43%) emerging as top gainer, led by DIALOG (+10.0 sen), HIBISCS (+5.0 sen), and VELESTO (+0.5 sen), followed by the healthcare sector (+2.40%).
