FBM KLCI: 1,433.39 pts (+10.80pts, +0.76%)

The FBM KLCI (+0.76%) advanced on the back of bargain hunting activities, tracking Wall Street’s gains over the weekend. Market breadth remained positive as the advancers thumped the decliners by 592-to-312 stocks. Broader market appeared fairly positive as all sectorial indices ended in the positive territory with the exception of construction sector (-0.20%). Meanwhile, the energy sector (+3.46%) rallied following a jump in crude oil price after OPEC+ announced a surprise output cut; HIBISCS (+8.0 sen), ARMADA (+2.0 sen), and DIALOG (+2.0 sen) led the gains.
