FBM KLCI: 1,383.17 pts (+1.91 pts, +0.14%)

The FBM KLCI (+0.14%) rebounded from its previous downtrend move as final-hour bargain hunting activities emerged in IHH (+18.0 sen) and selected plantation as well as the banking heavyweights. Market breadth however, turned negative as the decliners trounced the advancers by 507-to-355 stocks. The energy sector (-2.57%) was the biggest laggard on the broader market, dragged by ARMADA (-15.0 sen), DIALOG (-3.0 sen), and YINSON (-5.0 sen), while the plantation sector (+1.31%) gained on the back of gains in SIMEPLT (+17.0 sen), IOICORP (+6.0 sen), and KLK (+14.0 sen).
