FBM KLCI: 1,389.90 pts (-2.59pts, -0.19%)

The FBM KLCI (-0.19%) declined after traded mostly in the positive territory as China's Services PMI fell to 53.9 in June vs. 57.1 in May; led by selling pressure in MRDIY (-6.0 sen), NESTLE (-150.0 sen) and PCHEM (-4.0 sen). Market breadth, however remained positive with the gainers ahead of the losers by 438-to-378 stocks. On the broader market, the plantation sector increased 1.27% as the Crude Palm Oil futures traded above the SMA200 level. Meanwhile, the energy sector added 0.73% led by VELESTO (1.5 sen), HENGYUAN (+15.0 sen) and MHB (+1.5 sen).
